With the second set locked at 6-6 (6-6), Australian Tomic's forehand winner ended the game's standout point, as the pair rallied for 48 seconds on centre court. Ultimately Frenchman Moutet would progress to the next round, having breezed through the first set (6-1), but made to work harder to win the second set (7-6), taking the tiebreak 11-9.
