It's a final, so both players, you give everything, you put everything on the line. So, I felt that both, we were extremely focused from the beginning. High level for two sets, and then, you don't know how things can go, obviously in a tennis match, but obviously I'm glad." BRUSSELS, BELGIUM (OCTOBER 19, 2025) (ATP MEDIA/ IMG – see restrictions before use) 11. VARIOUS OF AUGER-ALIASSIME WITH THE TROPHY STORY: Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime is closing in on a place in the ATP Tour's season finale after winning the European Open in Brussels on Sunday (October 19). Auger-Aliassime has already won this tournament and he took the first set against the Czech Republic's Jiri Lehecka in a tiebreaker.  Lehecka hit back in the second, managing to save a match point before closing out a tiebreaker of his own. Auger-Aliassime has had a dip in form during the middle of the season despite winning tournaments in Adelaide and Montpellier early on but he is timing his run to the Race for Turin tournament by jumping up to ninth in the rankings.  He will need to continue those performances if he is to make it into the top eight before the climax to the season in Italy next month.
