CHINA'S BOBBY BAI’S SECOND SHOT AT 7TH / BAI WALKING STORY: Thailand's Sarit Suwannarut produced a sparkling performance on Friday (October 17) to take a three-shot lead at the Macao Open, finishing with a seven-under-par 63 that included a spectacular 20-metre eagle putt on the par-five 18th hole.  Suwannarut surged ahead with his impressive round, putting himself in a strong position heading into the weekend. He leads China's Wocheng Ye, who carded a 66, by three shots.  Ye's compatriot Bobby Bai, Australians Jack Thompson and Brett Rankin, Germany's Dominic Foos, and Siddikur Rahman of Bangladesh are all tied third. Bai and Rankin both shot 66, while Thompson and Foos finished their rounds with 68. Rahman also impressed with a 66. China's Wenyi Ding, who shared the first-round lead with Thailand's Gunn Charoenkul, too is tied fifth after a steady round of 69. Charoenkul slipped to tied 12th after carding a 71.
