South Korea's Youmin Hwang birdied five of the last six holes, including four straight to finish the round and capture the Lotte Championship for her first LPGA Tour victory on Saturday in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Hwang carded a 5-under-par 67 to finish at 17-under 271, one stroke ahead of fellow South Korean Hyo Joo Kim, who birdied No. 18 and shot 68 on Saturday, and two ahead of Japan's Minami Katsu (69). Carson Beck threw four touchdown passes and No. 3 Miami held off a late charge from No. 18 Florida State for a 28-22 win Saturday night in an Atlantic Coast Conference rivalry game in Tallahassee, Fla. In a game the Hurricanes led 28-3 in the early stages of the fourth quarter, the Seminoles rattled off 19 unanswered points in less than 10 minutes. Efforts continued for a seventh day to search for the bodies of 27 students still declared missing – mostly teenage boys from the ages of 13 to 19 – trapped under the rubble, the agency said. Cranes were deployed to excavate debris and search and evacuation efforts were 60% complete, according to the agency, which said it expected to clear all debris and finish the search on Monday. The Al Khoziny school in the town of Sidoarjo in East Java province caved in last Monday, collapsing on top of hundreds of teenage students during afternoon prayers, its foundations unable to support ongoing construction work on its upper floors. On Friday, rescuers received the parents' permission to make use of heavy equipment after failing to find signs of life during previous efforts. Rescuers dug through tunnels in the remains of the building, calling out the boys' names and using sensors to detect any movement, but found no signs of life. Al Khoziny is an Islamic boarding school known locally as a pesantren. Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim-majority nation, has about 42,000 pesantren serving 7 million students, according to religious affairs ministry data. "Polish and allied aircraft are operating in our airspace, while ground-based air defence and radar reconnaissance systems have been brought to the highest state of readiness," Poland's operational command said in a post on X. Eastern-flank NATO members are on high alert after Poland shot down suspected Russian drones in its airspace in September and drone sightings and air incursions, including in Copenhagen and Munich, have led to chaos in European aviation. Lithuania's airport in Vilnius was closed for several hours overnight after reports of a possible series of balloons heading towards the airport late on Saturday. According to flight tracking service Flightradar24, early on Sunday, commercial flights were using routings typically used when Poland's Lublin and Rzeszow airports near the border with Ukraine were closed. Reuters could not independently verify the Flightradar24 report.
