BENGALURU (Reuters) -India's second-largest software services exporter Infosys narrowed its revenue growth forecast for the year on Thursday to 2%-3% from 1%-3%, even amidst slowing demand in a challenging macroeconomic environment. The company reported second-quarter revenue that beat average analyst estimates on the back of strong performance in its financial services and manufacturing verticals. It's consolidated sales rose 8.5% on-year to 444.9 billion rupees ($5.06 billion) in the September quarter. Analysts, on average, expected 439.29 billion rupees, as per data compiled by LSEG.
