Verizon offers relief for government workers impacted by shutdown

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Verizon Communications said Tuesday that it will offer government workers impacted by a two-week-old government shutdown payment deferral options. Federal workers are beginning to receive partial paychecks due to the ongoing budget standoff.
