GLOBAL MARKETS Tech shares rallied on Thursday, driving Asia stock indexes higher, while gold hovered near a record high and the dollar languished as a weak U.S. labour market report bolstered bets for Federal Reserve interest rate cuts. WORLD OIL PRICES Oil prices rose on Thursday, snapping a three-day losing streak and rebounding from 16-week lows on prospects of tighter sanctions on Russian crude, though expectations of higher supply from an OPEC+ output boost next month capped gains. NIGERIA CRUDE OIL Exports of four key Nigerian crude oil grades will average around 641,000 barrels per day (bpd) in November, preliminary programmes seen by Reuters showed. MADAGASCAR PROTESTS Hundreds of protesters across Madagascar demanded the resignation of President Andry Rajoelina on Wednesday, taking to the streets for a fifth day of demonstrations that have shaken the government, local television broadcasts showed. GHANA INFLATION Ghana's annual consumer inflation rate slowed for the ninth consecutive month in September, falling to 9.4% year-on-year from 11.5% in August, marking its lowest level since August 2021, the statistics service said on Wednesday. MOZAMBIQUE NATURAL GAS Italian energy group Eni is expected to agree a final investment decision for Mozambique's second floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) platform at an event in the capital Maputo on Thursday, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
