Chorus says NZ government exploring sale of co's broadband funding securities

Oct 10 (Reuters) – Chorus Ltd said on Friday the New Zealand government has asked National Infrastructure Funding and Financing (NIFFCo) to explore selling the Crown-held securities that funded the company's ultra-fast broadband rollout. The New Zealand based telecom service provider said it will monitor the process and does not expect any major changes to the terms of the securities if they are sold to another party.
