Oct 3 (Reuters) – British pub group J D Wetherspoon reported a more than 10% rise in annual adjusted pretax profit on Friday, helped by resilient demand for its drinks and pub grub. Before separately disclosed items, the company reported an adjusted pre-tax profit of 81.4 million pounds ($109.33 million) for the year ended July 27, compared with 73.9 million pounds last year.
