Oct 9 (Reuters) – Peru's central bank on Thursday held its benchmark interest rate at 4.25%, in line with analysts' expectations. Peru's central bank has gradually brought its rate down from a high of 7.75% it maintained through the first part of 2023. It has previously said that the current level is "very close" to a level that it considers neutral. (Reporting by Sarah Morland; Editing by Kylie Madry)
