SOCHI, Russia, Oct 2 (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that if the United States supplied Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine then it would trigger a major new escalation, but would not change the battlefield. Speaking at the Valdai Discussion Club in Sochi, Putin said such a move would cause further damage to Russia's relations with the United States.
