Sept 30 (Reuters) – Spain's public deficit, including the central government, social security system and regions, but excluding town halls, widened to the equivalent of 1.84% of gross domestic product in the first seven months of the year, the Budget Ministry said on Tuesday. The deficit figure was equivalent to 2.22% of GDP in the same period a year ago and the deficit during the first half of this year was equivalent to 1.81% of GDP, the ministry said.
