Thai finance minister asks central bank to ensure baht is not too volatile

BANGKOK, Oct 1 (Reuters) – Thailand's finance minister said he has asked the central bank to ensure the baht is not too volatile, adding on Wednesday that he did not think gold trading was a major factor in the currency's strength.
