Thai July factory output drops 4.19% y/y, weaker than forecast

BANGKOK, Sept 30 (Reuters) – Thailand's manufacturing production index fell 4.19% in August from a year earlier, the industry ministry said on Tuesday, weaker than analysts' expectations. The figure compared with a forecast 2.0% year-on-year decline of 2.0% in a Reuters poll, and followed an annual drop of 3.98% in July.
