Neuville tops Shakedown as WRC Central European weekend begins

The Belgian's third run topped the leaderboard by 1.1 seconds from Frenchman Sebastian Ogier, who leads the Championship standings. They were just ahead of Elfyn Evans, after the Brit lost his lead in the standings last time out in Chile, as Ogier picked up maximum points. Estonian Ott Tänak, last year's winner in Europe, was 1.3 seconds off the pace in fourth. The drivers will clock up nearly 312km on asphalt in 18 notoriously changeable stages across Germany, Austria and Czech Republic over the course of the weekend.
